Overview
From June to July watch millions of Wildebeest venture across the deadly Mara River as they migrate, facing danger both in the water from the lurking crocodiles, and along the shore as lion and hyena follow them in hope of an easy meal.
Serengeti comes from the Maasai word ‘Siringit’ which means ‘’Endless plains.’’
The park is home to the biggest concentration of predators in the world, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, and famous for the endless circular Great Wildebeast Migration.
