Itinerary
Arrival at the international airport of Antananarivo. After immigration and customs formalities, meet and greet with your English speaking guide.
Proceed to money exchange then transfer to the hotel which is situated in the city center.
Rest of the day at leisure depending on your flight schedule.
Overnight at Royal Palissandre hotel****and spa or similar
Morning transfer to the airport and fly to Fort Dauphin in the south east of Madagascar.
On arrival drive to Berenty reserve at about 3 hours aways. Check in and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Later on, go for a nocturnal expedition to spot the wonderful night time wildlife.
Overnight at BERENTY LODGE
Today, you will have the opportunity to explore the private reserve.
Berenty is a small private reserve set in the semi-arid spiny forest. The reserve is home to six species of lemurs and the south’s largest colony of Madagascar fruit bats.
Morning walk in the reserve to spot lemurs, bird, etc.. with a visit to the museum to learn about the life of the local tribe, the Antandroy.
Then visit the gallery forest of Berenty which contains a collection of the extraordinary flora of the spiny forest, followed by an evening walk to spot night active wildlife.
Overnight at BERENTY LODGE
Today, drive back to Fort Dauphin, where you will go for an expedition in the reserve of Nahampoana, a very interesting botanical garden situated just 7km from the town. Here you can see typical vegetation of the east and the south which exists only around the area of Fort Dauphin.
After the visit, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at CROIX DU SUD
Today, after breakfast, transfer to the airport to take flight back to Antananarivo.
After that, transfer to your hotel in Antananarivo.

Today, depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to Sainte Marie Island.
On arrival at your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Sainte Marie or Nosy Boraha is a narrow granitic island in the east coast of Madagascar. It is composed of a main island and several small islets, with its kilometrical sandy beaches shaded by coconut palms, its bays and coves protected by coral reefs which turned this tropical dream island in is one of the most popular beach spots Madagascar has to offer.
It is famous for the acrobatic antics of the migrating humpback whales between July and September as they travel so near to the coast that they can often be viewed from the shore.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat expedition to spot the whales.
Humpback whales migrate from the Antarctic to warmer waters to mate and give birth between July and September.
After the whale watching expedition, return to the hotel and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Optional activities include:
An excursion to discover history and cultural sites of Sainte Marie Island through legendary places such as The Museum of Queen Betty or the first Roman Catholic Church of Madagascar or the pirate cemetery .
Water activities include snorkeling and diving

Today , drive to the southern tip of the island of Sainte Marie and have a dugout canoe trip to île aux Nattes.
This islet situated in the south of Sainte Marie is separated from the main island by a crystal clear blue lagoon.
Spend the day in this beach paradise.
Late in the afternoon, return to your hotel and overnight there.

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a morning at leisure and in the afternoon, transfer to the airport and fly back to Antananarivo.
At arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Today, based on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport, to take your flight back home or perhaps add on another part of Madagascar while you are here.
