  • This is a dynamic cycling circuit with stages of 5 to 7 hours of approximately 870 km, mixed asphalt road and track, with an average of 60 km per day through mountain ranges, isolated valleys and immense plateaus.
  • Multiple village visits and interactions with local people are the highlights of this medium ability bike tour for keen cyclists and cycle groups.
  • Shorter versions are possible for those with less time to spare.

Bikes

You are welcome to bring your own, but good quality Giant road bikes are provided with the necessary equipment and services adapted to the bike rides.

Average to good cyclist. By all terrain or mountain bike.

50 to 70 km per day of cycling. No technical difficulty apart from the difference in altitude.

Mainly on road, bike path, shared lanes and some secondary roads.

Additional Notes:

You only carry your gear for the day, in a small bag or satchel, for lunch.

You will find your luggage in the evening at the hotel: your luggage is transported by vehicle from one stage to another.

Overview

The trip is accessible to all, but you should be in good physical condition and to be accustomed to regular cycling. The cycling stages don’t exceed 70 km per day. Plus, due to the accompanying vehicles, they can be shortened or lengthened according to the physical abilities of the participants and ground conditions.

Accompanied by a professional guide, you will immerse yourself in the history of the legendary cities of the Silk Road, Khiva, Bukhara, and the turquoise city of Samarkand.

You travel through the varied landscapes of the Kyzylkum desert and the mountains of Nurata and Zerafchan.

You will experience the hospitality and warmth of the Uzbek people in authentic community tourism homestay projects.
